Battery Storage of electricity generated from the PV panels to use at a
later date is the latest development within the photovoltaic industry, and
it is poised to take it by storm.
Battery Storage allows you to store the excess electricity generated
from the array and so allowing the ability for it to be used when it is
needed. This is very helpful for homeowners who are out of the house during the day when the panels are generating the most electricity but then come back in the evening, raising the electricity consumption in the house.
Battery Storage really is the next era in energy self sufficiency, with the probable ability to be completely off grid and not being at the mercy of the inevitable raising of energy prices.
Our Battery Systems are split up into two main components:
These batteries normally sit near the inverter. They need to be kept at a fairly low temperature otherwise their efficiency drops, but they do provide a great power house for the home when the PV panels are not creating any electricity.
The PowerRouter is set to revolutionise the renewable energy industry with its unique development in remote monitoring of the energy generating system.
This monitoring capability allows you, the customer, to see the overall performance of your PV system whilst gaining accurate invaluable information on energy consumption and total energy balances. This allows the ability for any PV customer to keep track of their investment, whether it be in the same building that the PV has been installed in or half way around the world on a mobile phone. The PowerRouter really does take advantage of todays era of globalisation.
As an installer it also presents us with the ability to monitor your system from our head offices, checking your system for faults, free of charge. This then eliminates the need for costly site visits which in the end consumer and installer eventually lose out on.
