The EBS Design Process
The Design process begins immediately after the site survey or once we have been sent the relevant information (see our PV quote form).
This process can take a couple of weeks due to the fact we design every component to the minutest technical efficent detail- maximising the performance of the system to its fullest potential. Doing it this way we on average get 40% more out of the system than otherwise.
Not being tied to any particular manufacturer we make sure we install the best equipment for each individual purpose with no bias.
The software we use to achieve our industry leading system designs is called PV Sol Expert. Below are a sample of screen shots showing what we can achieve using this software.

This can be used to illustrate what your actual installation can look like. This works for both ground mounted and roof installations and gives an excellent indication of what your money will turn into.
A real world 3D representation of the future installation.
Before and after images
As well as the 3D modelling it is also possible to superimpose the future modules, giving you a real life illustration of the future install. Making sure the aesthetics are as pleasing as possible.
Modelling of terrain and vicinity
The 3D modelling also boasts the facility to see the PV system in a much zoomed out version to view it on a much larger scale.
Module coverage
With our ability to drag and drop modules to fit to the nearest millimetre, we can easily work around skylights, chimneys and any other roof feature with a detailed roof plan.
Shade animation
As well as all the graphics on offer that we can present in the final design. We can also provide information comparing multiple systems at once to see which one you think would be the best for you and also we use local climate data from the last twenty years to determine the output you should expect from each individual system in a year and so your return on investment.
The tool of plotting the Sun's path throughout the sky allows us to calculate the optimum angle for the panels at your location and how shading will influence the system.
